Mandatory First Post

Today is the debut of the trailer for Desolation of Smaug, the third and (regrettably last) installment of the Hobbit films. Coincidentally, today I am also home sick, and at my sister's prompting, have decided it might be a good (or at least interesting) idea to create a blog. I am skilled in many things, and perhaps creative writing is one of them - and if not, then at least I tried. Which is all anyone can really do.
